About

OMEGA Ministry is a Christ centered community of youth students within the Korean United Methodist Church of Greater Washington, who reside in the DMV area. OMEGA students have the hopes of exemplifying Christ's love and light onto others in their community.

OMEGA Ministry works to bring worship, discipleship, fellowship, outreach, and mission into the lives of Junior High and Senior High (grades 6-12) students.

Mission: About

Worship

Worship is at the core of OMEGA Ministry. Though we worship Christ in our everyday lives, we feel that it is crucial to have a time of worshiping Christ as a ministry once a week. Worship is held on Sundays at 12 PM, through Facebook, Youtube, and Zoom

Fellowship

OMEGA Ministry believes in the power of community- especially the community that is created by brothers and sisters in Christ.

Fellowship is an important pillar of our ministry as we are able to create intimate relationships as a family who cry together, rejoice together, and give thanks together.

Currently we hold fellowship on Fridays at 7:30 (TGIFF) through zoom. Every week has a different theme, alternating between worship, bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Fellowship is also in the form of "large group" after service on Sundays.

Missions & Outreach

Church is more than the Sunday worships and four physical walls of our sanctuary. Church goes with all OMEGA Ministry youth throughout their daily lives.

Outreach is a way in which we can be the salt and the light of the world and outreach takes many forms like Missions in our community, nationwide, and abroad.

OMEGA has participated in outreach through various drives, missions, and etc.
